What kind of content can I add?
Adventure.Travel provides ATTA members opportunities to reach adventure travelers directly with announcements, stories, videos, and images. Stories should be newsworthy and interesting to adventure travelers.
- Original high-quality adventure photos and videos
- New, innovative, and life-changing trips
- Unique promotions or contests
- Blog posts and stories geared at the adventure traveler
- Educational content for adventure travelers
How to Share Your Story
ATTA Members should login with your member credentials to this site to view the steps to share your story. Please click the Sign In button in the upper right to view the steps to share content. If you are logged in you will see the sharing buttons below.
Content Requirements:
- Content is true, relevant, and interesting to the adventure traveler. ATTA reserves the right to not publish posts that we do not feel are consistent with Adventure.Travel content quality.
- Selected destinations and activities are used in your website marketing material
- Correct grammar and spelling for an English-reading audience
- Formatting: fonts or colors match adventure.travel; please do not paste directly from MS Word
- PHOTO: ALL posts (articles, photos and videos) MUST include a featured image and will not be published without one. It is your responsibility to add a featured image and you will not be contacted to revise your post - it will not be published.
The Fine Print
- All content is public. In addition to your submissions being published on this site, Adventure.Travel is equipped with Really Simple Syndication (RSS), which means that anything you publish is immediately available across the internet. Previewing your submissions and getting a colleague’s review are smart steps to ensure your content will impress.
- Only use content that you have permission to use. As publisher of this content, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper rights and permissions to use it, including photo re-use.
- Ensure your content is high quality. All submissions on www.adventure.travel go through moderation by ATTA in order to ensure that visitors can trust and appreciate the site, but due to volume, we cannot contact you directly to correct a post before publishing, so please pay careful attention to these guidelines.
- A post that meets all requirements will be published upon review (within seven business days). Content will be published in the order it was received and, depending on your organization's posting volume, timed to allow for exposure to a breadth of tour operator content throughout the site.
